HOT DOG EDITORIAL ILLUSTRATION
This project is an editorial illustration to accompany the article "The Unbreakable Rules of the Chicago Dog—and When to Bend Them," by Helen Rosner. Throughout the article the author repeatedly mentions the almost holy status the hot dog is given by Chicagoans. To reflect that theme, this illustration depicts the famous hot dog as an angel, floating with mustard wings and topped with an onion ring halo.
